Boris Booij
Amsterdam-based director Boris began his career as a creative, on the other side of the table so to speak. Which explains his concept driven approach to filmmaking. His work is best described as conceptual storytelling told with kicking moody cinematography and strong musical editing. Boris now creates work for the likes of Nike, T-Mobile, Ikea, Heineken, and Universal Music. As well as countless Music Videos for artists including Dutch band Kensington and DJ Armin van Buren.
The past few years have seen Boris trotting the globe for both his commercial and personal work. A self-taught maker who has mastered every aspect of creating moving images: he sees filmmaking as “the” opportunity understand the way of the world, its culture, and people.
